GET IN STEP
Put your best foot forward! Better yet, let’s put our best Associational feet forward as we stride confidently into the future. Last year we celebrated MAA’s quarter century of service to Arizona’s museums, and this year’s Annual Meeting focuses on what’s ahead.
- What’s just over the horizon technologically and philosophically?
- What are the ethical issues confronting museums in the 21st century?
- What challenges are presented by changing demographics?
- What’s necessary to engage a generation more attuned visually than verbally?
These and other concerns looming around our collective corners are addressed at the Conference through AAM President Ford Bell’s keynote address, pre-conference workshops, thoughtful sessions, and in informal chats wherever Conference attendees meet to network—comparing notes and finding that we’re not all alone in facing many issues.
Plan right now to join your state-wide peers at this very special Conference in historic Wickenburg—keynoted by AAM President Ford Bell, held at the fabulous Rancho de los Caballeros Resort, and hosted by Desert Caballeros Western Museum.
In solidarity with other state associations, the 2008 MAA Conference is going green--discouraging excessive use of paper by using available technology. To that end, registration information and forms for the Conference will be online at this site.
