National Guild for Community Arts Education

MetLife Partners in Art Education

Amount: up to $20,000

Description: projects that exemplify best practices in creating and sustaining effective arts education partnerships; demonstrate joint design and execution of programming, curricula, professional development, and evaluation; provide high-quality arts learning experiences that meet national, state, and/or local arts education standards; and serve significant numbers of public school students during the school day and/or extended school day.

Innovation Lab for Museum

AAM Center for the Future of Museums, EmcArts and MetLife Foundation

Description: The Innovation Lab for Museums helps museums incubate and test innovative strategies to address major adaptive challenges in all areas of their operations.

Digitizing Historical Records

National Archives and Records Administration

Amount:  up to $150,000

Description: Use cost-effective methods to digitize nationally significant historical record collections and make the digital versions freely available online

Deadline: June 11, 2013

Electronics Records Program

National Archives and Records Administration

Amount:  up to $200,000

Description: Increase the capacity of archivists and archival repositories to create electronic records archives that preserve records of enduring historical value.

Small Museum Scholarship for AASLH Meeting

The American Association for State and Local History Small Museums Committee

Amount: $500

Description: For employees of small museums to attend the 2013 Annual Meeting in Birmingham AL, September 18-21, 2013.  

Deadline: June 15, 2013.

 

Museum Assessment Program (MAP)

American Alliance of Museums (AAM) and the Institute of Museum and Library Services

Amount: Up to $4,000 of consultative resources and services

Description: Helps small and mid-sized museums strengthen operations, plan for the future and meet national standards through self-study and a site visit from a peer reviewer in one of three areas:.Organizational, Collections Stewardship or Community Engagement.

Bridging Cultures at Community Colleges Grants

National Endowment for the Humanities
Amount: Up to $120,000
Description: Collaborative projects between community colleges and other institutions, including museums, focused on the theme of Bridging Cultures, either nationally or internationally.
