Assuring public access to museum collections and creating environments and programs that encourage high quality experiences for all visitors

We are looking for speakers to share their experiences at the 2019 Spring Conference focusing on ACCESSIBILITY.

The MAA 2019 Spring Conference is the perfect opportunity for you to share with museum colleagues how your museum and your programs provide high quality experiences for visitors of all ages and abilities. 

Whether museum director, exhibit designer, educator, program director, volunteer, collections curator, registrar or marketer for a museum; what are you doing to provide wonderful engaging or even inspiring experiences for your public?

We invite you to be thinking and to submit ideas for speakers and brief sessions that look at accessibility in all areas of museum work including:
  * Program and exhibition planning and attendance 

  * Using universal design, or maker places

  * Reaching underserved groups or people with disabilities
  * Research opportunities with collections 
  * Membership
  * Staff and volunteers 

  * Teens or interns
  * Board service
